By ferry or High-Speed vessel
Ferry:
Transportation by ferry to Milos takes 5-6 hours. There are 2-3 scheduled
departures a day from Piraeus port to Milos and from Milos to Piraeus port. The
departures are more frequent during summer. A third class ticket for a ferry
costs about 18 euros to go (Piraeus-Milos) and about 19,00 euros to return (Milos-Piraeus).
High Speed Vessel: Transportation to Milos by High Speed Vessel takes 2,5 - 3 hours. There is 1 scheduled departure a day from Piraeus port. A ticket costs about 35,00 euros to travel to Milos from Piraeus, and about 37,00 euros to return.
There is also direct (or via transfer) transportation from Milos to many of the other Cycladic islands, for example, Kimolos, Sifnos, Paros, Naxos, Ios, Syros, Amorgos and Santorini. Traveling to Crete via Siphnos is also possible.
